My brother and I started a landscaping business around the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, but since went our separate ways. Together we mowed, trimmed, and edged lawns, did bush trimming, tree removal, yard cleanup, and greenhouse assembly. While he moved towards simply mowing commercial lots and a little tree removal, I expanded in the direction of residential and learned more landscaping skills such as dethatching, bush removal, fertilization, weed removal, overseeding, and insecticide application. After nearly dropping out of landscaping and lawn care to pursue my handyman business, I am back as of January. My truck has broken down, but I am still going strong out of my courier services car. My two helpers have left my crew and my wife has stepped in and completed her basic training. She is good for mowing, weed trimming, and bush trimming as well.
